Thieves Alley Market

Firstly, our heartfelt thanks to all of those who visited our stall at the market. We had a great time chatting with you, sharing our jewellery and our passion. We were pretty lucky with the weather, and the sales, and a good time was had by all!

Upcoming adventures

We are currently preparing excitedly for Dunedin's biggest market event of the year... the Thieves Alley markets! On Saturday 12th Feb the central city will be swamped with festivities, and we are happy to have a stall for our steampunk jewellery in the Octagon, just up from the Regent Theatre.

We are preparing lots of new pieces for the occassion... expect some antique engraved clockwork parts, large pocket-watched sized pieces, unique square timepieces, and some high-quality filigree rings in a variety of metal-tones. Hope to see you all there!

Adventures in History

We had an amazing time at the Victorian Fete this morning. Were very excited (and a little nervous) to have our first stall ever ... but it was lovely to be able to talk to people about our work. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken an interest!


The morning was sunny, and the amazing costumes and stalls made the atmosphere great. Unfortunately about 1:30pm it began to bucket down rain! We made some rescue runs to the car with our gear, bur quite a bit got wet (I fear that our carefully painted sign is irrepairably damaged!) We ourselves got particularly wet... it turns out that victorian skirts aren't made for dashing through puddles!

We also enjoyed meeting some local Steam-ers, and got a big buzz from seeing our jewellery displayed in the AWESOME steampunk exhibition in the Forrester gallery. They have some incredible steampunk art - well worth a look

The Victorian Fete

We have been steampunking up a storm in the last few days! We now have over 90 unique jewellery items to take to the Oamaru Victorian Fete this weekend.

We are VERY excited to don our costumes, and sell our wares! Also excited to meet up with a few fantastic steampunkers from the bustling Oamaru community, including Prof Damotimus Tipotus who is opening his steampunk gallery ('The Libratory') tomorrow! We are planning to have items in The Libratory (both for sale and display) very soon.

DAMASK BLUSH



Thought we'd try something new...A bright new bloom with a difference. This blushing fabric rose has - a unique centrepiece consisting of a delightful vintage watch movement, set by artists with intricate cogs and a sparkling stone.

This brooch makes use of all vintage and upcycled parts: a cheerful flower for a classy dame with the flavour of forever wrapped inside.




ELVEN ARISTOCRACY



A gorgeous ring, created dually in the tones of the deep mystical forrest and the finest starlight-silver. A large silver filigree base, set with a vintage watch movement, perfectly circular, with all it's hidden wonders peaking out. Set with two sparkling gemstones - a larger emerald green stone, and a smaller sparkling clear crystal. Set on a silver semi-adjustable ring base.
